I am a proud former pupil of St Thomas More, as are three of my children. Having recently retired from my role as Assistant Principal at St Francis Primary in Bedworth, I am delighted to continue supporting Catholic education by serving as a member of the Education Standard Committee at St Thomas More.

Mrs Culleton
As a past pupil of St Francis in Bedworth and of St Thomas More I felt privileged to have worked in Catholic Education for many years in a number of roles including class teacher and principal. I am delighted to be able to continue to work with the Holy Spirit MAC and provide Catholic Education for the local community ensuring the needs of every pupil are met encouraging them to grow as the person God intends them to be.

Mrs Compton
I'm delighted to be part of the Education and Standards Committee at St Thomas More, a school that holds a special place in my heart. I grew up in Nuneaton and attended St Anne's Infants, St Joseph's Junior School, and St Thomas More Secondary School. The values I learned as a child in these schools—kindness, respect, and community—continue to guide me in all that I do.
I began my teaching career in 2005 and quickly developed a passion for leadership, becoming an Assistant Headteacher just four years later.
Since then, I've embraced a wide range of opportunities, including working with Warwickshire's School Improvement Team and leading secondments to support rapid school improvement. In 2011, I completed my NPQH, and in 2013 I took on the leadership of Warwickshire's largest junior school, which has grown into a thriving five-form entry setting.
Alongside my role as a headteacher, I continue to support primary and secondary schools across Warwickshire and beyond through the School Effectiveness Team. I also coordinate training for schools across Nuneaton, organise annual leadership conferences, a member of several strategic education boards and lead various collaborative projects—all driven by my belief in the power of partnership and my ethical responsibility to support all young people.
Away from my professional life, I'm a proud mum to three young boys who attend MAC schools. One of my children has SEND and an EHCP, which has given me a particular interest in equity in education. I advocate not only for my child, but for all children who need their voices heard. I'm also active in my local church community, where I lead weekly children's liturgy and Holy Communion preparation for children who do not attend MAC schools. My faith is central to my life, and I'm committed to ensuring that young people across the MAC receive not only a high-quality education but also the opportunity to embrace Catholic values—especially those rooted in kindness.
I've also experienced personal trauma through the loss of my daughter, which has deepened my empathy for parents who are navigating their own journeys to secure the best for their children. These experiences have shaped me as both a leader and a person.
With over 20 years of experience as a school governor, I've served on several governing bodies. I'm now excited to be part of St Thomas More's Education and Standards Committee and look forward to supporting the school in its continued success.
