"What a bunch of brain-boxes!!”
As part of the A2 psychology course, our students have had to acquaint themselves with the brain and its functions. Students have under the header of localisation and lateralisation of the brain been able to identify and explain the four lobes and their functions alongside the effects of areas within these lobes .
An example being the somatosensory area which is responsible for touch, responding to pain and other sensory input. In an attempt to make this task a little more accessible and easier to picture, we made our own 3D brain hats so we could easily identify the location of the brain in readiness for the AQA exam.
I’m sure you’ll agree our year 13 psychologists are a very brainy bunch !
