The English Department is taught in a suite of classrooms with data projectors and screens in each room. One class room has been equipped with 28 computers linked to the school network;
Mathematics is taught in a suite of five teaching rooms and one ICT suite. All teachers within the department are subject specialists. The ICT suite is also available before school, at break time and lunchtime for pupils who wish to complete homework tasks.
There are 6 Science Laboratories which are well equipped for co-ordinated Science teaching. Science staff generally teach in the same laboratory, which also acts as their form base.
The RE Department is taught in a suite of classrooms with data projectors and screens in each room. The data projector in all teaching rooms can be linked to the school network in order to demonstrate pupils’ work for modelling, assessment or discussion purposes.

PSHE and C
Personal, Social, Health Education and Citizenship lessons are part of the curriculum entitlement of all pupils. In all Year groups P.S.H.E and C. seeks to supplement and enrich the whole curriculum.
Modern Foreign Languages
The Modern Languages department is accommodated in three adjacent specialist rooms which are housed in a teaching block which was newly constructed in 1996.
