Admission Arrangements for the academic year 2022/2023

 

Applying for a School Place

Details on how to apply for a school place at St Thomas More can be found here:

If your child is in Year 6, then you have until Monday 31 October to submit your application for their secondary school place. There’s a range of useful information on the Warwickshire County Council website to help you apply, including a list of all local schools, a priority area map and a handy video to help you make realistic choices of schools. For these and guidance on how to apply, visit https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/applying-secondary-school-place.

Applications need to be made by 31st October 2022.  A Supplementary Information Form (SIF) must also be completed and returned directly to the school by the same date (forms can be found below). All applications which are submitted on time will be considered at the same time, after the closing date. You will be advised of the outcome of your application on 1st March 2023, or the next working day, by the local authority on behalf of the school.

The admissions authority for the school is the Board of Directors of the The Holy Spirit Catholic Multi Academy who has responsibility for admissions to this school.

The Board of Directors has delegated responsibility for the administration of the admissions process to the Academy Committee of St Thomas More Catholic Academy & Sixth Form College.

The admissions process for St Thomas More Catholic Academy & Sixth Form College is part of the Warwickshire Local Authority co-ordinated admissions scheme. To apply for a place at St Thomas More Catholic School & Sixth Form College in the normal admissions round, an application must be made using the school admission application process of the local authority in which you live naming St Thomas More Catholic Academy & Sixth Form College on the application form.  Applications need to be made by 31st October 2021.  A Supplementary Information Form (SIF) must also be completed and returned directly to the school by the same date (see Note 2).
