As we come to the end of the school year at St Thomas More, it seems pertinent for us to pause and reflect on what has been a challenging few months for everyone. We have learnt a great deal about our school community during the global pandemic, adopted new ways of working and overcome many challenges. We have never been prouder of our students and the resilience, self-motivation and perseverance they have shown in adapting to new technologies and completing work remotely. The skills that students have developed during lock down will undoubtedly stand students in good stead when they eventually return to normal school life and in the future.
A huge thank you to all our parents and carers for the unwavering commitment you have given us to support your child’s remote learning and to the school during this time. We appreciate all of your generosity with the food bank appeal and your kind donations.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming students back in September and we look forward to some of the exciting changes we are making for September as we continue on our journey to be an outstanding Catholic school where we live out the Gospel message every day.
