Plans for September 2020

We are delighted that students have returned to school this term and we are so proud of the high standards of attendance, uniform and behaviour that students are demonstrating.   The term has started very positively with students adhering to the 'new normal' rules and routines to stay safe. It's certainly a different start to the autumn term compared to previous years but we are impressed with the levels of maturity and responsibility shown by students.

We have made some exciting changes this term as we continue on our journey to be an outstanding Catholic school where we live out the Gospel message every day.  Many of these new initiatives were communicated in the end of summer term newsletter. Our expectations of students have been made clear at the start of the term regarding the daily interactions they have with adults in school, namely;

  • - Say please and thank you
  • - Follow instructions first time, every time without argument
  • - Make eye contact and answer appropriately when spoken to
  • - Wear your uniform correctly to show pride in yourself and your school
  • - Hold the door open for someone coming behind you
  • - Put your litter in the bin

We very much look forward to continuing our partnership with parents and carers this term. A reminder about the start and finish time of the school day times in the autumn term;
